Legacy SM130 Compatible: 13.56 MHz RFID Reader DIP Module
The SM130-M2 is a 28-pin DIP type adapter/converter module that integrates with the SM5211-SMD to ensure compatibility with the legacy, first-generation SM130 Mifare® Module. It supports the same communication interfaces and command set as the original SM130 module by running the compatible firmware version. However, SM130-M2 is exclusively offered only for existing designs, not available for new projects.
Migration
For new projects, we recommend exploring the 13.56 MHz RFID modules: SM5210-MINI (MINI20 package), SM5211-SMD (SMD20 package), and SM5212-uSMD (uSMD20 package). As a commitment to long-term availability and support, the SM130-M2 is exclusively offered for existing designs and is not available for new projects. We encourage the adoption of new package type modules for future designs to leverage the latest advancements in manufacturing and availability.
