 08.APR 2009 - New Products - PA1356-3/4 - PCB Antenna 

We are pleased to announce new two different sized PCB antennas for Mifare applications. There were only PA1356-1 PCB antenna, with these new antennas, customers will have flexible options to select size of the PCB antenna.

 08.APR 2009 - New Product - SMX1300 - Mifare OEM Serial Reader 

We are pleased to announce SMX1300 - Mifare OEM Serial Reader/Writer. It is now available for purchase at our online store.

SMX1300 is a serial reader integrated with PCB antenna, on board 5V regulator, RS232 circuit and a buzzer. 

SMX1300 provides faster solution for Mifare applications if compared with a module solution. SMX1300-EK, evaluation kit is available for purchase at our online store for quick demonstration and test of this new product.

27.JAN 2009 - SonMicro expanding product variety

SonMicro Electronics plans to release new turn-key OEM products which is being derived from the available products, in Q1 & Q2 of 2009.

" There are missing product types that customers want to see in our product portfolio. These are for example; Mifare Module integrated with PCB antenna, 125 KHz Reader with memory and keypad peripherals particularly for basic Access Control, small size reader modules for Energy Saver applications... etc. and we will meet these requirements in the shortest term as possible. Because distributor applications will be evaluated and finalized only after these new OEMs are in the market."  said General Manager, Mehmet Zeki Sonmez.

Our new website is re-designed with a content management system, for showing quick product releases and better navigation. It comes also with a ticket support system and better visual design. Our online store web page is also re-designed.  We strongly reccomend IE6 users to upgrade to IE7.

19.JAN 2008 - New Product to be released  - Access Control Terminal

SonMicro Electronics, is planned to release Access Control Terminal in the beginnig of Q1, 2010. This new product, with capacitive touchpad, 128x64 Graphic LCD, Ethernet controller, is designed to read and process Mifare tags and supporting Time & Attendance operations. It will be the world first OEM Access Control Terminal. Product can be adaptable to ISO15693 standard at a later time. Product will be offered only to RFID manufacturers, software companies and RFID distributors.

 20.JUN 2008 - SonMicro Expanding Customer portofilio with ASELSAN Inc.

Traffic Systems Department of ASELSAN Inc, which has successfully set up "Highway Contactless Smart Card Toll Collection System" all around the Turkey Highways, started to use SonMicro Electronics' Mifare OEM products in new toll collection gates, and also usb readers at banks for credit loading.
