Drivers

SM132-USB Virtual Com Port Driver - Windows Vista, XP, 2003, 2000
Linux, MAC and Windows CE drivers are available. Please contact us with the exact OS version to request these drivers.
Virtual Com Port Driver is neccessary for SM132-USB to be recognized by your PC.

Please note that ActiveX component, Visual Basic, .NET examples comes only in Software CD only with SM132-USB-EK-D or SM130-EK-D Evaluaiton kits.

Firmware Revision History

SM13X, RR130 products are upgrade-able. If you have an old version, or want to try out special releases, please download SME13X FU, firmware upgrader tool and contact with us and request encrypted hex file of the interested firmware version.

Please notice that, I2C and UART features comes with different firmware versions.

Latest Public Release for UART Interface
Firmware Version: "UM 1.3c"
Release Date: 14 October 2008
Known Issues: No known issues
Devices: SM13X, RR130
Description: Standard firmware version used in SM13X and RR130 devices. Modules sent out from our manufacturing facility is burned with this firmware.

Latest Public Release for I2C Interface
Firmware Version: "I2C 2.8"
Release Date: 10 January 2008
Known Issues:
1. Option to store keys in internal eeprom is not functional.
2. If Authenticate is done with KeyA or KeyB and if the first byte of the key is 0x0D, then authentication will be done with wrong keys and result in failure of authentication.
For resolution of these issues, please contact with us.

Old Public Release for UART Interface
Firmware Version: "UM 1.3"
Release Date: 30 March 2007
Known Issues: Some of the "UM 1.3" firmware versions have the following issues. For resolutions of these issues, please upgrade with the Latest Public Release firmware version.
