SM125-IC, 125 KHz RFID chip, is the main core System-On-Chip IC used in SM125-M1 modules. It performs both analog and digital signal processing and it is also a microcontroller. The neccessary analog, digital circuit and the firmware is designed and developed with Cypress Semiconductor's System-On-Chip IC. SonMicro's single chip solution including all analog,digital, antenna driver circuits and the programmed microcontroller in a single packaged IC is offered only by SonMicro and it is unique and the first in the world.

SM125-IC has tremendous features. Unlike any competitors' chip, SM125-IC performs all complicated RFID processes such as amplifiying, filtering, demodulating, decoding and digitizing, automatically and make the tag data ready to be sent over UART-RS232 / I2C / Wiegand 26-bit / Custom defined protocol and can trigger Buzzer/LED/Relay circuit.

SM125 can be controlled over UART-RS232 /I2C or with its most valuable and unique feature can behave as automated without requiring any external controller.

SM125-IC includes bootloader and can be upgraded over UART-RS232. For specific applications or requirements, SonMicro is able to modify the firmware and the hardware according to customer needs.
